We are excited to announce that Frankie Trull, well-known science advocate and lobbyist, will be speaking at the "Time Is Now" forum about the future of the Show Horse Industry.
The UPHA Equitation Committee will be holding a classroom and hands-on Equitation clinic, entitled "The Devil Is In The Details," free of charge to all interested registered convention attendees.
In addition to the educational opportunities for attendees, New Orleans offers a multitude of activities to keep you busy. From the Tony Award-winning play, "The Lion King," at the Saenger Theater, to jazz trios at the House of Blues, you are sure to find something to enjoy in between events at the convention.
The Saturday Youth Activity includes admission to tour the beautiful Audubon Aquarium, which is free of charge to all of our youth members that are registered convention attendees.
On Thursday evening, the UPHA Welcome Party will be held at Mardi Gras World. Helen Rich and Ali DeGray have generously sponsored this evening, which will offer an inside look at the iconic floats and costumes of the New Orleans annual Mardi Gras parade.
There will be plenty of time Friday evening following the awards for attendees to dine in New Orleans' world-famous restaurants, and explore the downtown area.
Saturday evening's finale will be the Awards Gala, featuring the presentation of the top awards from each association.
