The Spring Fling All-Breeds Horse Show will be held April 19-21, at Calnash Trucking Ag Centre in Ponoka, Alberta, Canada.
Spring Fling is the first of the 2019 season in this area, giving horse and rider an opportunity to shake off the cobwebs, clean some tack and get into the swing of showing. This is a great venue for new riders, fresh horses and new horse/rider combinations to climb into the saddle and participate in a show that is all about schooling, collaboration and fun. It also is a great show for the competitive class A-level rider.
Classes will be offered in hunter pleasure, western pleasure, saddle seat, and sport horse under saddle, as well as Young Riders/World Cup classes. Besides the regular roster, Spring Fling has added schooling and Academy classes to provide an opportunity for less experienced riders to show, and for less-seasoned horses to have a training run or two in the show ring.
In addition to the breed specific classes offered for Arabian, Half-Arabian, Saddlebred and Morgan horses, there will be plenty of all-breed classes to encourage a more diverse group of participants and to increase the class sizes.
