The Southeastern Hackney Regional Association is hosting its Annual Meeting and Banquet Weekend on February 23-24, 2018.
Silent auction check in is from 6 p.m.-8 p.m., and a cocktail reception will be held at 8 p.m. on February 23.
On February 24, the activities begin with an Open House at Heritage Stables at Johnny Lucas and Sons Stables (6209 Bethel Church Rd., Gibsonville, N.C.), from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Bring a friend and earn some Hackney Bucks. Hosted by Bryan Earehart, the event includes Hackney pony demonstrations and light breakfast items, and activities will be both inside and outside, so be sure to dress for the weather.
From 12:30 p.m.-3 p.m., the Southeastern Hackney annual membership meeting with be held at Best Western Plus. Guest speakers are Tom Lowry of Golden Creek Farm and Taylor Gregory, AHHS Executive Secretary. Silent Auction items check-in and bidding also will continue.
From 5 p.m.-6 p.m., there will be a cocktail hour and silent auction bidding. The banquet begins at 6 p.m., and includes dinner, awards, a 50/50 raffle, and silent and live auctions.
The cost for the meeting is $40 for adults; $20 for children 6-12 years old; and free for those aged 5 and under. These costs cover the banquet meal, conference room, meeting room and guest speaker expense. Please make your reservations before February 15, as reservations cannot be held without payment.
