Nancy M. Fortner, age 51, of Brunswick, GA, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015.

Nancy was a native of Augusta and earned her BS from the Medical College of Georgia in 1986. She worked as a radiation therapist at MCG then later at Southeast Georgia Health Systems Brunswick Campus.

Nancy loved horses and was a member of the American Saddlebred Association. She was also a member of CenterPoint Church in Brunswick. She is survived by her former husbands, Greg Fortner of Statesboro and Keith Ingram of Augusta; a brother, George Morrell, Jr. of Augusta and a niece, Hanna Morrell of Augusta.

A memorial service was held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Guffey officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Southeast Show Horse Association, 13868 Wild Hammock Tr., Jacksonville, FL 32226.
