The Third Riding Instructor Workshop will be held March 4-6, 2016, at the Rock Creek Clubhouse in Louisville, Kentucky.
Betsy Webb has developed a workshop format that encourages riding instructors, trainers and barn managers from across the country to come together for a weekend of networking, learning and problem solving. Discussion topics will include: making your lesson program more profitable, expanding your client base, extending your clients’ shelf life, encouraging your clients to show and buy, learning new and innovative teaching techniques, incorporating social media, and sharing knowledge with outside professionals on marketing, accounting, insurance, and websites.
With the theme “Encourage | Enlighten | Enliven” in mind, the 2016 workshop promises to be an educational and inspirational event for riding instructors and trainers to develop and reach their desired goals. The workshop includes a meet-and-greet event and dinner on Friday evening and a full schedule of speakers and activities on Saturday and Sunday.
An exciting addition to this years’ events includes the opportunity to take the American Riding Instructors Association certification exam on Friday. Workshop speakers include Doug Emerson of "The Profitable Horseman," and Maureen Campbell of Majestic Oaks Hackney Farm, among many other industry professionals.
The workshop registration includes wine, appetizers and dinner on Friday, lunch and dinner on Saturday, and lunch on Sunday, as well as an RIW vest and various materials and handouts during the workshop.
This is a chance to ask all of those questions you’ve always wanted answered and learn from guest speakers, as well as from other industry professionals. Join a group of highly respected riding instructors and trainers for a weekend of professional development at the 2016 Riding Instructor Workshop.
