Will you be showing your American Saddlebred at open or USEF-licensed shows? Are you an active member with the American Saddlebred Horse Association? You will automatically be entered in the World’s Championship Horse Show qualifications and the ASHA High Point and National Pleasure Programs. There is a division for everyone.
How does this work?
The ASHA Awards Programs recognize competition achievements by registered American Saddlebreds and Half-Saddlebred in a wide range of categories and disciplines. There is no enrollment required for the program. Every horse that has competition results entered into the ASHA database is automatically eligible for consideration as long as its owner and exhibitor are active ASHA members. If you haven’t done so yet, please renew or become an ASHA member.
How do I know if my show is recognized?
All competitions listed and recorded on the ASHA Competition Calendar are eligible for the WCHS qualification, ASHA High Point and National Pleasure Programs, regardless of whether they are USEF-licensed or not. The show manager or representative must complete a Horse Show Application Form, and send the results, using the ASHA Approved Show Results Template, to the ASHA within 10 days following the competition and within the qualifying period. The program year runs from December 1 to November 30.
