Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) has introduced legislation aimed at protecting farmworkers from being deported and allowing them a path to legal status, with the legislation offering "blue card status."
The bill, deemed the Agricultural Worker Program Act, would allow those who have performed work in agriculture for 100 days in both of the last two years to receive the special status, according to Feinstein.
