For years, the American Morgan Horse Association Registry has tracked various statistics. And like most equine breeds, the Morgan has been experiencing a decline throughout the past several years. However, for the third consecutive month this year, the Registry is seeing positive growth in all four areas tracked. This is a huge swing compared to the first eight months in 2015.
"I am very encouraged by these figures," said AMHA Registrar, Erica Richard. "While our breed has seen a decline due to the country's recession, I am pleased with figures from the past three months and hope to see it continue."
