The 2021 American Hackney Horse Society virtual youth contest is sponsored by Heritage Stables, Bryan, Katy and Ellie Earehart of Greensboro, N.C., and will run through July 31. 

There are 3 ways to enter:

1. Submit a 1 minute video of you on camera interviewing a trainer, amateur or junior exhibitor finding out what he/she loves most about showing Hackneys. Have them talk about a specific example and pony! 
2. Submit a 1 minute video of any Hackney class at a horse show. Give commentary about which pony you like and why.
3. Submit a 1 minute video with a Hackney while you perform a song, dance or skit together!

Include the following information with your video:

• Name
• Age
• T-shirt size: youth S M L XL, adult S M L XL
• Address
• Barn Name
• Location of video
• Name of pony featured in your video and/or the name of the person you interviewed

Every entry will receive a free hackney t-shirt (exclusively designed by Saddlethreads) and will be entered in to a drawing where three contestants will win $200 each. Also, for every entry, Heritage Stables will donate $5 to the Joe Crawford-Harrod Memorial Grant.
