The board of directors for the American Youth Horse Council has unanimously agreed to convert the 44th Annual AYHC Symposium to a virtual format. The event, originally scheduled for February 26-28, 2021, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, will now be held entirely online with a revised schedule and dates to be determined soon.
AYHC Executive Director, Danette McGuire said, “Although we were looking forward to seeing our AYHC members and colleagues in Tennessee, the leadership of AYHC recognizes that there are many risks surrounding COVID-19. The board felt that making this decision now would allow the planning committee ample time to re-envision the 2021 event in a way that is engaging and impactful while also protecting the health and safety of our members and attendees.”
The virtual 44th Annual AYHC Symposium will offer much more than a webinar series; the virtual format will feature the key elements that make the AYHC Symposium a unique event that draws attendees who return year after year:
The virtual AYHC Symposium presents an opportunity for adult and student leaders in the youth horse industry to learn, network, share ideas and grow as an industry from the comfort of their home or office. Additional details, including a revised pricing structure, will be available at ayhc.com as plans are finalized.
The 45th Annual Symposium is being planned for Murfreesboro, Tenn., in February 2022.
