The American Saddlebred Registry Hunter Sweepstakes is a prize program for one of the fastest-growing divisions on the circuit. This has proved the perfect program to compete with young Hunter Country Pleasure American Saddlebreds in the past two years.
This year’s winner and champion is Dreamacres King Crimson a 4-year-old gelding bred, raised, and owned by Dreamacres LLC. He was ridden and trained to victory by Thomas Thorpe of Northern Tradition Farm. Dreamacres King Crimson by Belle Reve’s Renaissance Man out of Callaway’s Queen of Crimson.
Reserve champion is Nirvana’s China Girl a 4-year-old mare by Nutcracker Nirvana and out of Callaway’s She Hung The Moon bred, raised, and owned by Shawn Stachowski, trained by Stachowski Farm and ridden in the ASR Sweepstakes by Caitlin Brannon.
