This role requires a self-motivated individual with a HUNTER mindset for sourcing new business, as well as a creative, outside-the-box thinker that can plan, organize and execute successful marketing campaigns. Our sales associate will work directly with the Publisher in creating and implementing ideas and processes to increase revenue.

Details

Responsibilities:

  • Meet monthly sales quotas and implement ideas to exceed those goals
  • Cold call potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Self-generate and contact potential advertising leads
  • Maintain current subscriber base by managing and contacting monthly renewals
  • Cultivate new subscribers by sourcing, organizing and contacting leads
  • Create, manage and execute sales promotions via our social media and email platforms in order to increase revenue
  • Work with our design team to create cutting edge marketing campaigns that will assist in achieving the sales goals
  • Work closely with the Publisher to coordinate sales efforts, review marketing ideas and meets sales quotas.
  • Participate in weekly 1X1’s with the Publisher and communicate weekly results, sales activities and marketing ideas
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years previous sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal & Written)
  • Proactive work ethic; strong people skills; positive attitude
  • Results driven self-starter with strong organizational/prioritization skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows based programs to include Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a close attention to detail
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas
  • Strong people management skills and an outgoing personality with the ability to build rapport over the telephone
  • Excellent time management skills with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and independently with the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
  • Pass required background and/or reference checks
  • Preferably an equine enthusiast who is familiar with the Arabian, Saddlebred and/or Morgan horse industries
