SUBJECT: Presidential Modification to rule HK132-Protective Headgear required in Hackney Pleasure Pony Under Saddle
A presidential modification to amend rule HK132 (please see below) to add the requirement for protective headgear for Pleasure Pony Under Saddle Classes, has been granted for the remainder of the 2017 competition year. This measure was taken in the interest of safety for youth exhibitors. An extraordinary rule change to HK132 was submitted to accompany this Presidential Modification to continue this requirement for the 2018 competition year. That rule change will be reviewed at the November USEF Board meeting.
