The River Ridge Charity Horse Show, hosted April 26-29 at the Ohio Exposition Center in Columbus, Ohio has announced the following changes for 2017.
A three-judge panel has been selected, and the judges will be Nancy Becker, Matthew Roberts and Lisa Waller.
River Ridge offers a comprehensive class schedule for Saddlebreds, Morgans, Hackneys, Friesians, Parade, an Open division, and a full line of Equitation classes.
The Prize List and additional information is located through www.riverridgehs.org and www.horseshowsonline.com. Online entries will be accepted through March 19. This will be a time-saving process that many shows are adding as a benefit.
River Ridge always has been known as the exhibitor's show. River Ridge will be providing extensive hospitality, including a Friday night exhibitor's party, generously sponsored by Helen Rich; and Steve Demjen once again will host his popular Cornhole Tournament. In addition, www.seehorsevideo.com will be providing a free webcast of the show, and Kuhlwein Services will provide pre-bedding and stall mats upon request.
As an incentive to trainers, a friend of the show is offering two cash drawings on Saturday night. Drawn at random, any trainer bringing and showing 10 or more horses will be eligible for a $300 cash drawing. In addition to this, any trainer bringing one to nine horses will be eligible for a $200 cash drawing. Finally, the trainer that has the longest mileage that shows at River Ridge will receive a $100 gas card.
River Ridge still will be sponsoring the Central Ohio Diabetes Women's Board, which sponsors Camp Hamwi, an exceptional summer camp for juveniles ages 7 through 17 who live with diabetes.
