The 2020 Un-Fair Horse Show will be held August 14-16 in Waterloo, Iowa at the National Cattle Congress Hippodrome. The theme is “Horse Show on a Stick,” and while it isn’t a State Fair, show management plans to have fun like it is.
Kelly Hulse of Columbia, Missouri, will be on hand to judge Saddlebreds, Morgans, Hackney Ponies, Shetland Ponies and Friesian classes as well as the Saddleseat Equitation and Open classes. In addition to the traditional classes, the schedule includes several fun classes, including First Time Off-the-Farm, Pro/Am, Egg & Spoon, and even a Showmanship Refresher Clinic. With more than 140 classes in the schedule, there’s something fun for everyone.
Saturday evening’s Parade of Breeds promises to be a hit. Friday and Saturday night classes will feature Spotlight victory passes. Don't miss the Friday Night’s Fairest of the un-Fair Pageant where the winners will be invited to present trophies on Saturday night.
The historic National Cattle Congress Hippodrome Main Arena has been host to decades of horse shows and echoes memories of industry heroes such as Tom Moore, Chat Nichols, and countless others presenting great horses here. The show will utilize multiple 200 x 100’ arenas; the main hippodrome will host the performance events while a second covered arena will be available for work, warm-ups, and will host Working Ranch and Trail classes.
Sponsorship opportunities are available at all levels including: Funnel Cake, Corn Maze, Giant Pumpkin and Ferris Wheel.
