The Southeastern Hackney Horse Association held their annual meeting and awards banquet on February 25.
The association will be sponsoring the incentive program again which will pay extra money in all the hackney championship classes at the following shows: ASAC Clemson, Pendleton, South Carolina; New River Valley, Dublin, Virginia; Bluefield Shrine, Bluefield, West Virginia; ETSA Midsummer Classic, White Pine, Tennessee; Southeastern Charity, Conyers, Georgia; and Dallas Fall Classic, Dallas, North Carolina. Exhibitors may visit the SHHA web site for details and to print forms.
SHHA also will be holding an Open Breeder's Stake at the ETSA show in White Pine, Tennessee, for 3-year-olds, and 4- and 5-year-olds in all classes. This is a good chance for exhibitors to show their pony before going to Louisville or Indianapolis. SHHA will be paying extra prize money, so visit the web site to read about this program and print off the forms.
SHHA also will again be holding their used tax sale at the ETSA show in White Pine.
