The Northern California American Saddlebred Horse Association has announced the launch of a new horse show, The Silicon Valley Horse Show, which will be held May 17-19 at the Horse Park in Woodside, California.
Classes for both Saddlebreds and Morgans will be scheduled, and all will include cash prizes for trainers as they leave the ring (excluding Academy). Three $5,000 Jackpot Stakes classes will close out the show on Saturday night -- Amateur Three-Gaited, Morgan Amateur English Pleasure, and Amateur Western Pleasure. Also of note, there will be a groom’s prize of five different drawings for $100 each.
In anticipation for the show, the Horse Park has recently built new barns that will feature brand-new 10x12 stalls, rubber mats, new lighting and improved overhangs for more shade and coverage.
Also, on Friday, May 17, show management will be hosting a cocktail party at Rosewood Sand Hill, a resort only minutes from the Horse Park, and attendees are invited to enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while catching up with friends and taking in the view.
