Western Dressage is a melding of training methods found in both Classical Dressage and Western Horsemanship. Its techniques and principles are valuable for equestrians in all facets of riding, from home training and enjoyment through the highest levels of competition. The discipline is rapidly growing and Western Dressage is gaining a strong foothold as a recognized and respected method of training and a competitive division.
The clinic, to be held May 30 and 31 at Windcrest Morgan Farm in Wooster, Ohio, will feature eight 2 hour sessions. Each session may have up to six riders who will have Mr. Swanson’s full attention and reap the benefits of his vast knowledge, guidance and advice. Riders of all ages and ability levels, and horses of all breeds, are welcome and encouraged to participate. Auditors are welcome as well.
OMHA is also planning a Meet the Clinician reception to be held on Friday, May 29. Details for this event are still in the planning stages.
