The American Saddlebred Horse & Breeders Association (ASHBA) announced today that the nomination and payment deadline for its National Futurity & National Amateur Futurity has been extended to March 31, 2026. This extension is in response to recent winter weather, including ice storms, which have caused disruptions for some members, including mail service delays and office closures.
The All American Classic (AAHC) also has agreed to continue to host these classes at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in early September. At this point, that is the scheduled location for ASHBA’s young horse prize programs, including the National Futurity and National Amateur Futurity.
ASHBA appreciates the AAHC and the strong partnership that has supported these programs and the American Saddlebred community. The association values the professionalism, collaboration, and commitment shown by the AAHC’s leadership, exhibitors, and show management.
ASHBA will continue working with all parties involved and will share any additional updates as they are confirmed.
ASHBA reaffirms its commitment to the long-term success of its prize programs and to the breeders, owners, and exhibitors who make them possible. By maintaining strong partnerships and clear standards, the association continues to support a sustainable and competitive future for the American Saddlebred.
