The American Hackney Horse Society has announced that applications for the Joe Crawford Harrod Memorial Grant will be accepted from June 1 to June 30, 2019.
The Joe Crawford Harrod Memorial Grant has been established to support active youth members of the American Hackney Horse Society, aged 18-26, with a desire to strengthen their horsemanship skills. Funds may be used for education, participation in a horse show, or any show horse industry program. The grant will be awarded annually.
Applicant requirements:
The grant will be open to Hackney, Saddlebred, Morgan, and Roadster youth, with preference being given to those who participate in the show horse industry with Hackneys. The intention of the grant is to recognize and support an individual who portrays the characteristics and traits that Joe Crawford Harrod strived for and pursued.
