Gayle Lampe and William Woods University have announced the "Almost Christmas" riding clinic, to be held December 8-13, in Fulton, Missouri.
The clinic spaces will be reserved as first-come, first-serve, and will include 13 rides. Attendees should plan to ride three times on Monday and Wednesday, and two times Tuesday and Thursday. The clinic will visit a training barn, get lessons at another barn, or have a lecture in the classroom in the afternoons. Attendees should arrive Sunday, Dec. 8, in time to ride at 5 p.m. Any additional rides will cost $50 each. The clinic will end with two rides on Friday, December 13. Possible field trips include visiting Bob Brison, Callaway Hills, Mike Roberts, Virgil Helm, Jimmy Simmons, High Spirits Farm, as well as the Saddle Horse Museum in Mexico, Mo.
The training arena is indoor, measures 120’x 300’, and features lights, a P.A. system, and heat, so attendees will ride rain or shine.
