The American Saddlebred Horse Association is pleased to announce the First Annual ASHA Trainers’ Equitation Cup at the Kentucky Fall Classic Horse Show on Saturday, October 4, 2014 in Lexington, Kentucky, at the Kentucky Horse Park. The class will consist of rail work and a work out. The entries will be decided by nominations. The opening nomination bid for each trainer begins at $100. The workout for the class will be posted in the horse show office one hour prior to the start of the Saturday afternoon session. The ASHA Trainers’ Equitation Cup will be class 64 A.
The rules for the class are as follows:
The winning trainer will be awarded a one-year membership to ASHA ($70 value), the American Saddlebred Museum ($35 value), and the UPHA ($65 value), a full color page in the 2015 Journal of the American Saddlebred commemorating their win, and a tricolor ribbon and trophy. The trainer with the most nomination funds raised will be awarded a lifetime membership to the ASHA.

You may nominate a trainer using this form. All nominations will be kept anonymous, and you may pay by check, credit card, or cash. ASHA is a 501(c)3 non-profit, meaning all nominations and sponsorships are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. The ASHA Trainers’ Equitation Cup will benefit American Saddlebred breed promotion and marketing.
