The American Saddlebred Museum has announced it will open to the public on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. After this time, the Museum will be open Wednesday – Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission fees will be: Museum members, free; Adults, $12; Child, $6; Senior, $10; Military with ID, $6. Admission includes entrance to the Kentucky Horse Park.
In anticipation of reopening, Museum staff have implemented extra precautionary measures to disinfect its spaces throughout the day. They are increasing the cleaning frequency of high-touch and high-traffic areas such as entry areas; have installed plexi-glass shields at the front desk; and are providing additional hand sanitizers in strategic locations throughout the building. The Museum encourages all staff, volunteers and guests to make use of these resources. All staff will wear masks, and the Museum encourages all guests to do so as well. Masks will be available upon request. Additionally, the Museum is encouraging social distancing and maintaining a safe 6-foot distance between guests and staff.
Although we would love to see you when we are open, if you are sick or feeling unwell, we urge you to stay home and avoid close contact with others, as recommended by the CDC.
The Museum Gift Shop will be open to the public as well. Members of the public are encouraged to visit and shop new merchandise.
The American Saddlebred Museum and Gift Shop is located at 4083 Iron Works Parkway, Lexington, Kentucky, on the grounds of the Kentucky Horse Park.
